The place to start planning this would be to think of a list of revolutionary ideals, either espoused by the Jacobins/Robesbierre/Revolutionaries, or perhaps by the Enlightenment.
Some of these include:
-Equality of gender, race, and religion (Voltaire)
-Individual rights and the power to rebel against tyranny (Hobbes, Paine)
-More France-specific ideals such as the end of the ancient regime, reform of the 3 Estates system, and end of serfdom.
The big question revolves around whether Napoleon's rise to emperor-hood really succeeded in upholding the democratic liberty-equality-fraternity ideals of the Revolution. On one hand he became a dictator and his rule was followed by a return to monarchy in a wave of nationalistic European conservatism. On the other, his rise to power ended serfdom and established an important law code that provided equality for all under the law.
