The Gutenberg Printing Press was an invention that allowed for books to be mass-produced such as the Bible and other written works from ancient philosophers which were studied during the Italian Renaissance and later the Enlightenment. This mass production of books allowed many to access and learn about certain thoughts and beliefs and by doing so these thoughts and beliefs remained known among a large amount of Europeans from the 14th Century onward and even to today.
