2, -10, 50, ... is geometric with common ratio r = -5 (in other words, you go from one term to the net by multiplying by -5). The first term is a1 = 2.
The nth term, an, can be found by using the formula an = a1rn-1.
So, the 6th term is a6 = 2(-5)5 = -6250
