Find the measures of the 3 angles in a triangle whose smallest angle is 10 less than the middle sized angle and whose largest angle is 10 more than twice the middle sized angle.

S=M-10

L =10+2M

S+M+L = 180

M-10 + M + 10+2M = 180

4M = 180

M = 180/4 = 45 degrees for the middle sized angle

S= 45-10 = 35 degrees for the smallest angle

L = 2(45)+10 = 100 degrees for the largest angle

35+45 + 100 = 180
