So it says that the bicycle can travel 1 mile in 5 minutes. m = minutes and in 5 minuets one can travel 5 miles
so the expression is equivalent to:
m(minutes) * (1(mile)/5(minutes)) so we see that the minutes cancel out so m/5 is just left with the unit of mile. Therefore m/5 is how many miles you can travel with the bike given m minutes.
