1) normal walking speed is about 4 mph. in 30 minutes = 1/2 hour that's about 2 miles
if you walk incredibly slowly, it's closer to zero. a fast walk, a speed walker, maybe 8 mph
so set is about (0,4) for 30 minutes
2) cookies in a cookie jar depends on size of cookies and size of the jar.
could be any where from one huge cookie to tiny cookies in a huge jar, so
call it maybe (1, 500)
3) fish in one hour of fishing. Assume this is not a net, but just a lone fisherman using a pole and bait?
then there's time to rebait get the old fish off the line. so in one hour at say 2 fish per minute max that's say [0, 120), as zero is appropriate if no fish are caught
4) top 5 scorers in golf. par 3? sum or average of the 5? 18 holes. that's minimum 18 times 5 = 90 min, max is trickier. on a bad day they may slice hit the water or sand trap, miss puts even for the best, so let's say 10 per hole max. 18x10x6 = 1080 and solution set [90, 1080) more or less
