36x - 54(4) -16x + 28(4) = 3

20x = 26(4) +3 = 104 + 3 = 107

x = 107/20 = 5.35

Or unless you did really mean

9/x -6 - 4/x -7 = 3/4

then x can't = 0

and

5/x = 13 + 3/4

5x = 53/4

x = 53/20 = 2.65
