Hi Kei,
Recall that 8 pints is equivalent to 1 gallon and 4 quarts is also equivalent to 1 gallon.
For 2 gallons of milk, you would need 16 pints (2 x 8 = 16). If each pint costs 35¢, then 16 pints would be $5.60 (35¢ x 16 = $5.60).
For 2 gallons of juice, you would need 8 quarts (2 x 4 = 8). If each quart costs 85¢, then 8 quarts would cost $6.80 (85¢ x 8 = $6.80)
