Hello, Ini
When you find area of a rectangle you multiply base by height;
Since area is given, you will do inverse which is factoring
the area is 2x2 - 3x -20
since coefficient of x2 is 2,
first multiply 2 by -20 and we get -40
then factor -40; when combine these factors you need to get b which is -3 for that question
some factors of -40 are
-20*2. nope
-10*4. nope
-8*5. yes! that works
2x2 - 3x -20 = 2x2 +5x -8x -20 = 𝑥(2𝑥+5)−4(2𝑥+5) = (𝑥−4)(2𝑥+5)
so, dimensions are (2𝑥+5) and (𝑥−4)
hope that helps

Oh okay. I get it now. Thank you so much, Mahmut07/20/21

If I understand the question (very confusing), you should factor it out (roots of your quadratic equation):
Therefore, you can write it as 2 binomials (2x+5)(x−4)
P.S: I missed 2 at the beginning.
