Calculus Problems

Peloton sales can be given by function P(t) = 7e^0.18t where t is time in years since 2000 and P(t) is in millions. What is the amount of the Peloton sales? In 2017, are they accelerating or decelerating?

William W.

Are you asking to find the sales today? Like July 2021? Or do you mean for some particular year or range of years?

I am sorry for the confusion. What I meant to say is what is the cost of the Peloton sales?

They are accelerating due to the fact that the exponent has positive power. Can you just plug in the value for the t?

Oh, okay. Do I need to use the antiderivative?
