for x(x+3)/(x-5) x=-3 or 0 makes the expression zero
but for [x(x+3)/x] -5 x=2 makes the expression zero
you probably meant the 1st, with -3 or 0
(2y+3)/10 y=-3/2 makes the expression zero
but for 2y + [3/10] y=-3/20 makes the expression zero
you probably meant the 1st with y=-3/2
technically though, it's written as if the 2nd expressions were the problem.
