X=Distance(km), V=velocity (km/hr) and t is time (hr)

Westbound bus and eastbound bus have the same speed (V)

Westbound time of travel is 5 hrs

Eastbound time of travel is 3 hrs

Thus:

X_w=V(5)

X_E=V(3)

X_W+X_E=352 km

5V+3V=352 km

8V=352 km

V=44 km/hr
