toy car weighs 6 pounds a piece and are shipped in a container that weighs 15 pounds when empty. Toy trucks weigh 5 pounds a piece ad are shipped i a container weighs 19 pounds. When packed with toys and ready for shipment both kinds of containers have the same number of toys and the same weight. What is the weight of each container ad what is the number of toys.

6C + 15 = weight of toy car plus container

5T + 19 = weight of toy truck plus container

C=T

6C+15 = 5T + 19

6C - 5C = 19-15 = 4

C =4 = T = the number of toy trucks and toy cars in each container

24 + 15 = 20 + 19 = 39 lbs

each container weighs 39 pounds and each container contains 4 toy trucks and 4 toy cars
