Need a math tutor? I am a local Albany State Univ. math tutor
The slope of a line is m = -8/3 , known points, (5,9)
The point-slope form of a straight line is:
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
Where (x1,y1) is a known point on the line, plug in given known values
y - (9) = -8/3*(x-5)
y -9 = -8x/3+40/3
y = -8x/3+40/3+9
y= -8x/3+67/3
