Hello Ella,
This problem is a little tricky. On the unit circle, we know the sine and cosine values for multiples of π/6, π/4, π/3, and π/2. In this problem, we look at the unit circle and find that at θ = π/3 has a point (x,y) = (1/2, √3/2). By definition, the x-value is cos(θ) and the y-value is sin(θ).
