(y-2)/(x-4) = m
y-2 = m(x-4)
y = mx -4m +2
where m= slope and 2-4m = the y intercept. whatever the slope is, replace m with that value
y= mx + (2-4m) is in slope intercept form with m=slope and (2-4m) = y intercept
