Please help on math homework due today!

Ten circular cardboard disks were weighed and the mass in grams and corresponding radius in centimeters were recorded. The information is shown below:

cm: 9.6, 9.0, 7.7, 6.3, 5.3, 4.7, 3.7, 2.4, 1.3, 0

gm: 5.4, 4.6, 3.4, 2.3, 1.6, 1.2, 0.8, 0.3, 0.1, 0

1.) What is the linear regression equation (round to the nearest hundredth)?

2.) What is the value of r^2, the coefficient of determination, for the linear equation in the previous question? Does it suggest a linear model is a good fit for the data? Explain your answer (using a text box).

r^2 = ___

3.) Determine the quadratic regression equation (round to the nearest hundredth).

4.) Compare the coefficient of determination (R^2) of the quadratic model with the r^2 value for the linear model. Which model is better fit for the data? explain your answer R^2 = ____

5.) Given the quadratic regression equation from question #3, predict the mass for a disk with a radius of 16cm. Round to the nearest hundredth

Do you know how to use the STAT plot and functions on the TI calculator. This is the solution. Learn it, it will come in handy.

John is right. I got a simulator for TI calc, but you can also look it at Desmos like I did. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/2gz2u5jckb
