a phone company offers two monthly plans,Plan a cost $23 plus an additional $0.10 for each minute of call. Plan b cast $30 plus an additional $0.08 for each minute of call. For what amount of calling do the two plans cost the same?.what is the cost when two plans cost the same?

23 +.1M = 30 + .08M

.02M = 7

M = 7/.02 = 700/2 = 350 minutes makes the cost the same

Cost = 23+.1(350) = 23 + 35 = $58 for Plan A

Cost = 30 +.08(350) = 30 + 28 = $58 for Plan B
