Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
f(x) = g(x)
4x^2 +3x - 8 = 7x -8
4x^2 -4x = 0
x^2 -x = 0
x(x-1) = 0 set each factor = 0 and solve for x
x=0 or 1, smallest x value that makes f(x)=f(x) is zero

asked 05/24/21Two functions are shown here:
f(x) = 4x^2+ 3x - 8
g(x) = 7x - 8
What is the smallest x value where f(x) = g(x)?
