Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
R-C
= 75x -.5x^2 - 35x -300
= 40x -.5x^2 -300
(R-C)' = 40-x=0
x=40= profit maximizing output level
max profit=40(40)-.5(40)^2-300
= $500

I'm assuming the question is: What is the Profit? In that case, profit is revenue minus costs, but your revenue numbers do not make sense (75x-0.5^2)05/23/21
