In a hospital, there is a ramp for the disabled at the entrance. Has a length of the ramp is N m, what would be its length on the floor in meters if it has an angle of inclination with respect to the floor of 5 degrees?

hypotenuse = N meters
angle = 5 degrees
Length from bottom of the ramp to just beneath the entrance, directly below the top of the ramp = L
L = N(L/N) = Ncos5
L= .9962N meters
