θ=−7π/4 is identical to θ=π/4
Use your special right angled triangle with angles π/4 π/4 π/2 .. and sides: legs 1, 1, hypotenuse = sqrt2
sec θ= 1/cosθ = hyp/adj (pull the lengths of hyp and adj from special triangle) = sqrt2/1 = sqrt 2
csc θ= 1/sinθ = hyp/opp (pull the lengths of hyp and opp from special triangle) = sqrt2/1 = sqrt 2
tan θ= opp/adj = (pull the lengths of opp and adj from special triangle) = 1/1 = 1
cot θ= 1/tan = 1/1 = 1
HINTS: remember SOH CAH TOA opp =O= opposite adj=A=adjacent hyp=H=hypotenuse
Hope that helps!
