list answer clearly

which of the following gives the relative size of Ka and pH of a 0.10 M solution of HEX3(aq)?

HEX3(aq) + H2O(l) ⇌ H3O+(aq) + EX3(aq)

∆Go = +47 kJ/molrxn

The reaction between the acid HEX3(aq) and water is shown above. Based on the chemical equation and the value of ∆Go given above, which of the following gives the relative size of Ka and pH of a 0.10 M solution of HEX3(aq)?

  1. Ka = 1 and pH < 1

  1. Ka << 1 and pH = 1

  1. Ka > 1 and pH > 1

  1. Ka << 1 and pH > 1

Not sure how you arrive at a pH of 1 if the Ka is << 1. Seems like pH would be > 1 depending on just how much less than 1 the Ka is. For the pH to be 1, the Ka would have to be 0.1 which to my way of thinking isn't much less than 1.
