Hi Jaila. Congrats on learning about architectural history. Brutalist architecture has a major impact on the Northeast. It came around the time when Corbusier oversaw construction of his UN building design. Obviously, this European influence has an impact on metropolitan architecture in the United States, and many architects became fans of using concrete in their design.
