Integrating both sides
ln(V) = Kt + C1
V = C2eKt
Solve for C2 and K
V(0) = 16 = C2
V(80) = 8 = 16e80K
8/16 = 1/2 = e80K
80K = ln(1/2) = -ln(2)
K=-ln(2)/80
V(t) = 16e-ln(2)t/80 = 16(2)-t/80
b) dV/dt = KV = (-ln(2)/80)(4) = -ln(2)/20 (Negative because it is decreasing)
c) 2 =16(2)-t/80
1/8 = 2-t/80
-ln(8) = -t/80ln(2)
t = -80ln(8)/-ln(2) = 80(3) = 240 seconds = 4 minutes
