A chess player plays two games against a computer. The probability of winning the first game is 0.6. The probability of winning the second game is 0.8. Assume the outcome of one game does not depend on the outcome of the other game. What is the probability of winning at least one game?

Two games have different chances of winning a game where one has a probability of 0.6 or 6 tenths or 6/10 or 60/100 or 60% while the other has a probability of 0.8 or 8 tenths or 8/10 or 80/100 or 80% and since the odds of winning a game is not affected by the outcome of the other game there is either a 60% chance or 80% chance of winning a chess game against a computer.
