6(x-2/3)(x-3/2) = 6(x^2 -2x/3-3x/2 + 6/6) = 6(x^2 -4x/6 -9x/6 +1) = 6(x^2-13x/6+1) = 6x^2 -13x + 6
(6)(x-2/3)(x-3/2)= 6x^2-13x+6
use the quadratic formula
x =-b/2a + or - (1/2a)sqr(b^2-4ac) where a=6, b=-13, and c=6, that gives x=2/3 or 3/2, change their sign and stick an x in front of them to get (x-2/3)(x-3/2) multiply that by 6 to get the original trinomial.
