-y=3-1/4x - How would I solve this?

I am confused how I would change the -y to a y.

Ghada O.

We were always taught to change the sign minus to plus and plus to minus every time we move a number or variable in an equation from one side of the = to the other. -y=3-1/4x -3+1/4x=y move 3-1/4x to the other side of = (means change the signs) and move y to the other side, means change the sign)
