When you see the phrase "geometric sequence", always remember to use the formula an=a1(r)^(n-1). Where a1 is the initial term, n is the number of term, and r is the ratio.
Let's look at the first case, we were given n=10, r=2/3, and a1=8. Now plug it in!. a10=8(2/3)^(10-1), the answer should be .208 (rounded to the 3 decimal places).
Similarly, for your other question, you were given n=7, r=2/3, a1=6. Hope you can solve this on your own. Just plug it in and you will have the answer. Answer should be .527 (rounded to the 3 decimal places).

Did your teacher say anything about the format? Then try fractions. Number one is 4096/19683. The second one is 128/243.04/14/21
