A spinner has 10 equal pieces, 4 white, 3 black and 3 gray. Linda spun it 50 times. She got 17 White, 14 Gray, and 19 black. Assuming that the spinner is fair, compute the theoretical probability of landing on white.

For this question, the principle of probability having no memory is applied, so therefore any previous occurrences don't affect the next. So since there are 4 white sections out of 10, the probability of landing on white next is 4/10.
