You can graph both equations at Desmos.com or use a graphing calculator. x and y intercepts for the line are easy to calculation as is the y intercept of the nonlinear equation, you can use both to make they appear on your graph at Desmos.com

Since 10(1.07)x is a nonlinear equation, you can find the solution by plotting the graph and finding the point of intersection between the two given equations. I get ≈(5.024, 14.048).


If this was for a higher level math course, you could use an iterative method, such as the Newton-Raphson method to find the x and y values.
