Would you put a comma between replied and with?
"No," he replied with a rolling of the eyes.

No comma needed. Rolling of the eyes is part of the description of his reply. "Np, he replied, then rolled his eyes." would have a comma.

Also, would the same rule apply to if I was to write "as he" so that it read: "No," he replied as he rolled his eyes.03/26/21
