Question

In a school of 240 students 5/8 walk to school, 1/6 cycle and the rest arrive by bus. How many of them arrive by bus?

Answer 1

240(1-5/8 -1/6)

= 240(3/8-1/6)

=90 - 40

= 50 by bus

5/8x240= 150 walk

1/6x240 = 40 cycle
