On x y axes, it's the point where x=-7 and y = 4 (-7,4) puts the x coordinate first and y coordinate 2nd. It's called an "ordered pair"
Start from the origin, where the axes intersect, where the vertical axis intersects the horizontal axis, (0,0) and go up 4 units and then go left 7 units
or go left 7 and up 4. either way you get to the same point
It's a point that's about 8.1 from the origin at an angle of about 150.2 degrees from the positive x axis
8.1 is about twice 4. The reference angle is about 30 degrees with the negative x axis.
