Get the line slope based on it is perpendicular to line 2y+4x=12 or y=-2x+6

The line slope is 1/2

Say the equation is y=ax+b=(1/2)x + b; replace x=8, y=1, then b=-3

So, the line equation is y=(1/2)x-3
