Two step eqautions

-10+x/1.5=-5

I know the answer is 7.5 but I get getting stuck with the process

(-10+x)/1.5 =-5

-10 + x = -5(1.5) =- 7.5

x =-7.5+10 = -2.5

OR maybe you probably meant

-10 + x/5 =-5

then add 10 to both sides

x/1.5 = -5+10 = 5 multiply both sides by 1.5

x =-5(1.5) = -7.5
