Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
2A + C =29
12A + 6C = 174
11A + 6C =166
A = $8
C=29-16 = $13
Weird that they'd charge adults less than children. It's usually the reverse. In economics price discrimination maximizes profits by charging higher income level people more. It usually passes itself off as helping the poor by giving them lower prices, when it really is just charging the rich more and the poor what they'd get anyway as a price. But schools probably aren't into economics so much at the elementary levels. Music though is mathematical, so whoever set prices has some other objective.
