If 15% of a number is 45, what is 16% of that number?

.15x = 45

x =45/.15 = 4500/15 = 300

.15(300) = 45

.16(300) = 48

16% of the number = 48

each one % adds 3

48-45 =3 for the 1% increase from 15 to 16%

in the grand scheme of things, 1 year and about 10 months is a drop in the bucket, & maybe "soon" or sooner than never
