Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
3x = -(5x+2) + 10
= -5x-2+10
8x =8
x = 1
y=5x+2 = 5+2 = 7
y=7
solution is (x,y) = (1,7), the point where the 2 lines intersect, if graphed
3(1) =-7+10 = 3
7=5(1) + 2 =7
