I f I am to understand what you are asking - I assume you mean that the angles 5x - 11 and 4x + 1 create complimentary angles. If I am correct in my assumption, then you take the 5x - 11 and add it to the 4x + 1 and set them to equal 90 degrees. See below:
5x - 11 + 4x + 1 = 90
9x - 11 + 1 = 90
9x - 10 = 90
9x - 10 + 10 = 90 + 10
9x = 100 x = 11.1(repeating bar over the 1)
