use the vertical line test. If it's possible to draw a vertical line that cuts the graph in more than 1 place (2 y values for 1 x value) then it's not a function
You probably need more information to know if that's possible.
the domain has one more x value than the range has y values. That suggests that two of the x values correspond to the same y value. That would mean it's not a function.
