First thing's first: They want us to write our linear equation in Slope-intercept form, so we will be writing the equation in the form of
y = mx + b
We are not given the slope, instead we have been given 2 points on the line.
We can calculate the slope using those two points and the slope formula [(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)]
Here are the two points we are given: (6,-3) and (0,2)
(2 - (-3)) ÷ (0 - 6) = 5 ÷ -6, so the slope is -5/6
NOTE: One of the 2 given points is our y-intercept - (0,2).
y = -5/6x + 2
