If the variables can only take on positive integer values, then there's 2 solutions
X=1, Y=2, Z=6, W=3, with XY =2
or
X=3, Y=6, Z=2, W=1 with XY =18
or if negative integers are allowed,
two more solutions
just change the signs to all negative numbers, but XY will still be either 2 or 18
IF you allow fractions, all you know is Y is twice X and Z is twice W, where XY could be any positive real number
X = 6/Z
Y = 12/Z
XY = (6/Z)(12/Z = 72/Z^2 > 0
