Layla scored a total of 24 points and made twice as many three point shots as two point shots. Graphically solve a system of equations in order to determine the number of three point shots made, x, and the number of two point shots made, y.

3x +2y = 24

3(2y)+ 2y = 24

8y = 24

y = 3 two point shots

x = 6 three point shots
