Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
2a + 10b - c =0
-3a +5b + c =0
add
-a +15b = 0
a = 15b
c = 3a-5b = 45b-5b = 40b
c = 40b
or
c = 3a-5a/15 = 3a-a/3 = 8a/3
c = 8a/3
b = a/15
or
b = (3c/8)/15 = (c/8)/5
b = c/40
with only 2 equations and 3 unknown variables there is no unique solution
but you can solve each of the 3 variables in terms of the other 2 variables
there are an infinite number of solutions in terms of real numbers
