unit rates, please help

You hike up a mountain trail at a rate of 2.5 miles every hour. You hike 4 miles every 2 hours on the way down the trail. How much farther do you hike in 3 hours on the way up than in 3 hours on the way down?

down hill speed = 2mph (4/2)

up hill speed = 2.5mph

in 3 hours you go uphill 3(2.5) = 7.5 miles

in 3 hours you go downhill 3(2) = 6 miles

you go 1.5 miles more going up than down in 3 hours
