If the original problem is (3x-2y+4)/(3y-2x), then everything you have shown here is correct up to the final calculation. Your work for getting to the point of 16/2 is correct, but 16/2 would simplify to 8 and not 2 as you indicated. If 8 is not a solution to the problem, it sounds like the question you are working on is not properly designed which is not your fault!
