NOTE: You should just immediately know

Because the line is horizontal with a slope of zero.

And, it must go through the point (-3, 5).

Clearly, y = 5.

All horizontal lines have equations like y=?. Once you've specified the y-coordinate, you can choose any x-coordinate and it will lie on the line y=?. Now what horizontal line would have (–3,5) on it???

Would y = 0 have the point (–3,5) on it? No, because the point doesn't have a y-coordinate of 0.

Would y = –2 have the point (–3,5) on it? No!!
