Find equation of linear line that passes through point (-3, 5).
Solution;
Slope is zero because line is horizontal.
y = mx + b
y = (0)x + b
y = b
5 = b. Use: (x,y) = (-3,5)
y = 5
NOTE: You should just immediately know
that the line is y = 5.
Because the line is horizontal with a slope of zero.
And, it must go through the point (-3, 5).
Clearly, y = 5.
