I did x + (x+2) + (x+4) = 2(x+4) - 6

and i get -4 which is not odd.

x-2 + x + x+2 = 3x = 2(x+2)-6 = 2x+4-6 = 2x-2

3x= 2x-2

x =-2

x-2 =-4

x+2 =0

-4,-2, 0 seem to be the only integers that satisfy the problem. You're right, they aren't odd
