You don't include all of the information, but how would you calculate it? Put it on paper. For example, if the spruce tree is 12" tall when planted...

y = 4x + 12

It started at 12 inches on day 0 (our y-intercept) and grows 4 inches per year, so after 1 year, it's 4(1) + 12 = 16" and we have a point at (1,16).
